Into the Fire Release Date

The honest sentence: Into the Fire is planned for Early Access in 2026 on PC via Steam and GOG. Starward Industries has not printed a day-month. The Steam page still says 2026. Gematsu’s November 2025 report is the cleanest third-party confirmation of that EA window. This page collects every public timing clue so you can wishlist without a fake countdown.

If you want to play now, that is a playtest, not a launch.

Platforms, languages, sharing

Steam lists English full audio, plus interface/subtitles for Polish, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese (six languages). This wiki covers English, French, German, and Spanish. Family Sharing is listed. Xbox controllers are listed. None of that is a release date, but it tells you the EA build is aimed at a European-friendly PC audience, which matches a Kraków studio.

How to prepare without a day

1. Wishlist both stores.
2. Pass the PC checklist.
3. Learn the loop in Getting Started.
4. Join Discord via Links so a sudden demo week is not a surprise.
5. Do not pre-order from a random key shop pretending EA is tonight.

How we will update this page

When Starward prints a month, it goes in the first sentence. When a price appears, it goes in “what is announced.” When a console SKU appears, it goes in platforms. Until then, anyone claiming “Into the Fire launches Friday” is guessing. Guessing is how wikis rot.

Wishlist alerts are the closest thing to a day. Steam and GOG both notify. Discord notifies faster and is also noisier. If you only want launch-shaped news, mute Discord memes and keep Steam news on. If you want a playtest key, do the opposite for a week around a posted wave, then mute again. The playtest page is the SOP; this page is the calendar that refuses to lie.

Price panic is also premature. There is no SKU. Anyone selling a “deluxe founder pack” is not Starward. When a price appears, it will be on the two store pages listed under Links. Until then, spend money on an SSD if you failed the PC checklist, not on a grey-market key.

Regional stores may show different language order. The six-language set is the useful fact: English audio, European and Japanese text. This wiki’s four languages are a subset, not a claim that Polish and Japanese pages exist here.

The volcano has a clock. The store page does not. Wishlist, test if you can, and treat 2026 as a year, not as a hidden day we are gatekeeping.
